Grief has many faces and many names. Grief isn't limited to the death of a loved one. You can feel a sense of grief for many things. It can be anything that you've lost- whether something tangible or emotional. And sometimes you will have to give yourself the space and the time to mourn whatever loss you have experienced. We can grieve over broken dreams, lost innocence, shattered hopes, wrong decisions, false expectations that fall with a crash... Grieving can come because you are physically leaving a place you've known as home... or emotionally leaving a place you've been at for too long...A letting go of a piece of yourself you lost along the way or was stolen from you. Grief.
