TWO THOUSAND AND TWELVE

Hello and goodbye
Hello and goodbye
I've been saying all my life
Can't have hello without goodbye
neither can you goodbye without hello

Constantly outgrowing masks, beliefs, bonds
and now buildings more than buildings
Dare my name to be the only thing to remain the same?
Ignorance can be bliss, but when pain from the forging of new muscle,
tissue, tendon and bone wake you up at 4am,
bleeding with an undefined restlessness
what do you do?

The earth under my feet and in my bones shakes and quakes
When will I be able to settle and grow roots
Everything shifting, Everything shoving

Hello and goodbye
Hello and goodbye
I've been saying all my life

Hello and goodbye,
never one without the other
