you're never there for me

Over and over
I dare you to care
but you're just never there

A trail of overlooked crumbs, left for you to
trace my path, remain untouched.
A hallway of doors, yet the floors of the
rooms never learn the staccato of your what am I to do

You feel frozen out from my world,
bolted from my diamond labyrinth
but over and over
I dare you to care
why don't you try being "there"
